What Is Live-in Care?
Live-in care is when a professional carer comes and lives with you in your home to provide you with around the clock care, companionship, and support. This allows individuals to enjoy a greater quality of life, in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, whilst receiving consistency and continuity of care.
With experienced teams on hand to consider all your requirements, from religious observances to dietary requirements, we are qualified to provide live-in care for people with a variety of conditions, including:
- Learning Difficulties
- Mental Health Problems
- Severe Physical Disabilities
- Complex Needs
- Autistic Spectrum Conditions
Meeting Your Needs
As an alternative to domiciliary care, live-in care may be a better solution for individuals who require a greater level of care in the comfort of their own home. This usually applies to older people, who may require increasing levels of support as their overall health worsens due to age, frailty, or the impact of living with other conditions.
A domiciliary carer who visits once or twice a day may not be able to meet your overall needs safely or effectively. Families may end up picking up any care that’s required between visits. Alternatively, live-in care includes overnight and complex care, enabling us to provide much-needed specialist support and consistency.
